How sweet it is to be loved by you...


This yummy treat is one that every woman should ATTEMPT to make. If you can't stretch your culinary skills this far just nick a slice off someone! So here is how to make it...

Basic Ingredients

100g butter
250ml milk
1 tsp red wine vinegar
100g plain chocolate (melted)
15g cocoa powder
300g self-raising flour
1tsp bicarbonate of soda
225g golden caster sugar
2 eggs

For the Icing
225g plain chocolate
100g butter
142ml double cream

Other things you will need: cake tin,baking paper,large mixing bowl, wooden spoon,electric whisk,glass bowl,medium saucepan,medium knife, spoon for spreading icing.

Right so now for the baking..

1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees
2. Grease cake tin and line with baking paper
3. Mix milk and Vinegar together.
4. Place other ingredients for cake in large mixing bowl.
5. Pour in the milk mix and beat until smooth.
6. Spread mix into cake tin.
7. Bake for an hour until firm in the middle.
WHILST BAKING MAKE ICING.SEE BELOW.
8. Leave to cool for at least 10 mins.
9. Halve the cake through the middle.
10. Spread a quarter of icing on 1 half and sandwich together.
11.Spread the rest over the top and sides.

Whilst baking cake make the icing...
1. Melt the chocolate and butter together for 3 mins.
2. Stir until smooth and beat in the cream.
3. Cool slightly

Feel free to further decorate to your hearts desire. Can use chocolate buttons or sprinkles, fresh fruit anything you can think of will make it special.

Mai Tai translates from Tahitian to mean "Out of this World." And I would agree with this accurate description.

The Mai Tai.

Ingredients
1 fl oz (30ml) light rum
1 fl oz (30ml) dark rum
1/2 fl oz (15ml) orange curacao
1/2 fl oz (15ml) orgeat syrup
Juice of 1 fresh Lime

1. Shake ingredients in cocktail shaker.
2. Pour into glass over ice.
3.Garnish with mint sprig or lime slice.
4. Enjoy!

A quite simple receipe for this fab drink and minimal effort required.

1 1/2 fl oz (45ml) Tequila
orange juice to fill

1. Mix all in glass filled with ice.
2. Garnish with slice of orange
3. Enjoy this beaut!

Today's cocktail is the Shirley Temple.
 The basic ingredients are as follows:

1fl oz (30ml) grenadine
1 fl oz (30ml) lime juice
Ginger Ale to fill

1.Pour all ingredients into ice filled glass.
2.Garnish with slice of orange or Cherry.
3. Sip away!

How sweet it is to be loved by you




As you ay be aware I am a MASSIVE chocoholic and have the most sweetest tooth.

I guarantee no-one else loves sweet things more than me! All that sugar just sends me wild! I love love LOVE it!

Ha ha so I'm on the hunt for a quick fix. 
I remember that Jake bought me some minstrels at the weekend. Finally find them in the abyss the has taken over my room.

And yes I'd devoured them all already! Boooo.To my utter horror I had no chocolate.

Gladly my subconscious had remembered of this lack of chocolate and forced me into tesco last night. 
What should I find still hiding in the bag? YESSSSS Chocolate! Whuey. So saved the 
day and got my fix!

Rock around the clock

 A tasty favourite for a Friday 13th celebration! The oh so tasty and one of your five-a-day (I'm joking I really don't know)...

Warm welcome please for:

The Pina Colada.

The ingredients are as follows.

1 1/2 fl oz (45ml) light rum
3tsp crushed pineapple
2 fl oz (60ml) coconut milk

1. Mix into blender with ice.
2.Serve in to highball glass with straw.
3. Garnish with fruit of your choice.
4. Sip away.

Cheats alternative just use pineapple juice and blend together with ice. It's much less hassle and quicker too =)

This is quite a simple one with few ingredients and minimal effort required. Just dragging your arse down to the offie or sainsbury's.

Ingredients

1fl oz (30 ml) Blue Curacao
Champagne

1. Pour Curacao into glass.
2. Top up with Champagne.
3.Enjoy!

The Daiquiri.


Ingredients
1 1/2 fl oz (45ml) light rum
1/2 fl oz (15ml) fresh lime juice
2 tsp sugar syrup

1. Shake ingredients with ice.
2.Strain in to cocktail glass
3. Garnish with slice of lime

Chocolate Cookie Receipe.

Everyone young,old and in between loves chocolate chip cookies! So give it a try and enjoy the benefits of your hard labour.

Ingredients

113g of unsalted butter
110g brown sugar
50g white sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
140g all purpose flour
30g coca powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8tsp salt
260 chocolate chips

You will also need: 2 baking trays, greaseproof paper,electric mixer,whisk,sieve and tablespoon.

so now you have gathered all those ingredients-don't be tempted to eat the chocolate yet!- let's get baking!

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees c
2.Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
3.Cream butter and sugars in mixer for about 3mins (Should be light and fluffy)
4.Add egg and vanilla extract.
5.Beat ingredients together.
6.Sift together the coca powder,flour,baking powder and salt.
7.Add to the main mixture.
8. Mix together for 1 minute.
9.Add in chocolate chips.
10.Mix together.
11.Scoop mixture out  onto baking trays.
12.Place about 1/2 tablespoon each 5cm apart.
13. Bake for about 8mins (cookies should be soft in the centre but firm on edges)
14.Take out and let cool down.
15. Wait 5 mins and enjoy!

You can add anything extra to the mixture such as cherries,nuts or many varieties of chocolate chips!

This yummy cocktail has long been one of my favourites. I have the worlds sweetest tooth and this just hits that spot everytime.

Presenting Sweet Martini

So here are the ingredients

1 3/4 fl oz (52ml) Gin
3/4 fl ox (22ml) sweet vermouth

1.Stir together with ice.
2. Strain into cocktail glass.

1/2 fl oz (15ml) Gin
1/2 fl oz (15ml) Blue Curacao
1/2 fl oz (15ml) Advocaat
1 fl oz (30ml) orange juice

1. Pour all ingredients into shaker.
2.Add ice.
3.Shake well.
4. Strain into cocktail glass.

Chocolate Mousse Receipe

An easy and tasty treat sure to impress and satisfy your family and friends. So get shopping and then get cooking.

Ingredients
1 Bar of Bourneville chocolate (200g)
1/2 pint of whipping cream
2tsp of dry instant coffee
4 eggs 
2tsp coffee liqueur

You will need an electric blender,medium saucepan,medium glass bowl,whisk,wooden spoon and serving bowls/glasses.

Now you've got it all together. Let's get mixing!

1.Break the chocolate up into the blender.
2. Heat the cream and coffee in pan and bring to the boil.
3.Pour cream and coffee into blender. 
4.Liquidise for 1 minute until chocolate has melted.
5.Add egg yolk and liquer.
6. Blend for 30 secs.
7. Pour into medium bowl.
8. Refrigerate for about an hour. Make sure cold and thick.
9. Whisk the mixture until light and fluffy.
10. Divide mixture between serving bowls/glasses.
11. Put in fridge for further 30 min.
12. Serve and enjoy.

For an extra twist add crumbled chocolate in to the mix before serving or add a topping such as whipped cream or walnuts =)
